Terms and conditions

Article 1 · Definitions
Birun: Birun Print & Sign, Molukkenstraat 405, 1095 AR Amsterdam, Chamber of Commerce 64949915.
Customer: natural person or company placing an order with Birun.
Order: any agreement for the supply of printing, signage, textiles, or related services between Birun and the customer.
Article 2 · Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with Birun, both via the webshop and in-store. Deviations are only valid with written confirmation from Birun.
Article 3 · Prices and offers
- All prices are in euros, excluding VAT (21%) for business customers and including VAT for private individuals, unless otherwise stated.
- Prices on the website are subject to errors and price changes. In case of errors, we will communicate before production begins.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days, unless otherwise specified.
Article 4 · Order and formation
- An order is formed as soon as Birun sends the confirmation (order confirmation email).
- Until that moment, Birun reserves the right to refuse orders, for example, in case of suspected fraud, incorrect price information, or conflict with copyright or legislation (e.g., printed matter with hate-inciting material).
Article 5 · Delivery and delivery time
- Delivery times are indicated per product and are indicative.
- Delays caused by external couriers, file problems, or technical malfunctions do not entitle the customer to a discount or cancellation without consultation.
- Pickup in-store when ready; shipping via PostNL, DHL, DPD, or courier for address delivery.
Article 6 · Payment
- Standard: prepayment via iDEAL, credit card, Bancontact, Klarna, PayPal.
- Business customers can order on account (14-day payment term) for orders starting from €250 after a credit check.
- In case of late payment, we will charge the statutory commercial interest plus administration costs.
Article 7 · Files and copyright
- The customer is responsible for correctly supplying print-ready files and for owning the rights to all visual and textual materials used.
- Birun is not liable for copyright disputes arising from the printed material.
- Birun reserves the right to refuse orders with clearly infringing material (e.g., copied logo, illegal fan merchandise).
Article 8 · Customization, urgency, and liability
- For urgent and same-day orders, the right of withdrawal lapses upon completed production (in accordance with Article 6:230p Dutch Civil Code, customization).
- Birun is never liable for indirect damages (lost revenue, reputational damage) resulting from delays or printing errors.
- Direct damage is limited to a maximum of the invoice amount of the relevant order.
Article 9 · Withdrawal and returns

- Standard products without customization: 14-day cooling-off period (Distance Selling Act).
- Customized products (virtually all printed matter): no right of return, but a right to replacement delivery in case of a production error.
Article 10 · Complaints
- Complaints must be reported within 7 days of receipt via info@birun.nl.
- Birun aims to resolve complaints within 5 working days.
Article 11 · Force majeure
Birun is not liable for delay or non-delivery due to force majeure (power outage, machine failure, pandemic restrictions, fire).
Article 12 · Applicable law
All agreements are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.
