How quickly can Birun deliver my printed materials?
Ordered before 11:00 AM is often ready today in Amsterdam. We produce business cards, flyers, funeral cards, posters, and stickers in same-day production. More complex products such as brochures or large format take 2-5 business days. The exact delivery time is stated on each product page.

Within Amsterdam (within the ring road) we deliver the same day for orders placed before 11:00. Outside Amsterdam, we ship with PostNL or DHL, standard 1-2 business days after production. Pickup at Molukkenstraat 405 is always free and often faster.

Yes. Pickup is free for all orders. You will receive a notification via email or SMS when your prints are ready. Pickup is possible Monday to Saturday during opening hours. Please bring your order confirmation (or show it on your phone).

iDEAL, credit card (Mastercard, Visa), Bancontact, PayPal, and for business customers, an invoice with 14-day payment terms. In the store, also cash and debit card.

Print-ready PDF with 3mm bleed and embedded fonts is the standard. For business cards and flyers, high-resolution JPGs (300 dpi) or PNGs also work. For signage and large format, we request vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) to prevent loss of scale.

Bleed is the extra border around your design that is cut off after printing, to prevent white edges from appearing if the cutting shifts minimally. The standard bleed is 3 mm per side. Also, maintain a 3 mm safe margin within the cut line for important text.

Files up to 1 GB can be uploaded directly via the configurator. Larger files? Send them via WeTransfer or Dropbox link to info@birun.nl with your order number. In-store, you can use a USB or email.
Should I provide my design in CMYK or RGB?
Should I provide my design in CMYK or RGB?
CMYK is the standard for print, the color mode for ink on paper. RGB is for screens. If you supply RGB, we will convert it ourselves (slight color shifts may occur, especially with deep blue and bright red).
Do you check my file before printing?

Yes, each file receives a free pre-flight check: resolution, bleed, fonts, color mode. If we find anything suspicious (low resolution, missing bleed, black text on a colored background), we will email you before production begins. Once approved, it goes straight to print.

Yes. Our in-house designer creates designs based on your briefing. For simple business cards and flyers, we charge a starting fee from €45. For corporate identity packages or custom designs, we work on an hourly basis (€75/hour) or a fixed project fee. Drop by for a 15-minute consultation, free of charge.

Yes. Old logos (JPG, PNG, low resolution) can be vectorized for better print quality, starting from €65 depending on complexity.

Which products can you have printed same-day?
Same-day turnaround in Amsterdam applies to: standard business cards (up to 1000 pieces), A5/A4 flyers (up to 1000), funeral cards and wedding invitations, A3/A2 posters, roll labels, banners up to 3m, and banners. Each product indicates specific delivery times. Therefore, always check the product in question for exact delivery options.

Before 11:00 on weekdays and Saturdays. Between 11:00 and 14:00, we will still try to deliver if the schedule allows it; please call before ordering.

We offer same-day delivery within Amsterdam. Outside the ring road, transport time will be added. It might be possible via a special courier; call us before 10:00 AM and we'll see if it's feasible at an additional cost.
