1. Who is responsible?

Birun Print & Sign ("we", "Birun") is located at Molukkenstraat 405, 1095 AR Amsterdam, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 64949915. We are responsible for processing your personal data as described in this privacy statement.

2. What data do we collect?

When you order something from us, contact us, or use the website, we may collect the following data:

  • First and last name
  • Company name (business customers)
  • Address details (invoice and delivery address)
  • Email address and phone number
  • Order history and files you upload
  • Payment details (processed by our payment provider, we only see that payment has been made, not your card details)
  • IP address and browser information (via analytics and cookies, see cookie policy)
  • Chamber of Commerce and VAT number (business customers, for invoice)

3. Why do we use this data?

  • To process, print, and deliver your order
  • To inform you about the status of your order
  • To correctly manage invoices and accounting (mandatory by the Tax Authorities: 7-year retention period)
  • To improve our services (anonymous website statistics)
  • To send you newsletters, only after explicit opt-in

4. How long do we store your data?

  • Order data and invoices: 7 years (legal tax retention obligation)
  • Contact form submissions: max 2 years or until you request withdrawal
  • Newsletter data: until unsubscription
  • Uploaded design files: 1 year after order, then deleted
  • Website analytics (anonymized): max 26 months

5. With whom do we share your data?

Only with parties necessary for the execution of your order:

  • Shopify Inc. · webshop hosting (EU servers)
  • Payment providers (Mollie, Klarna) · for payment
  • PostNL / DHL / courier · for delivery outside Amsterdam
  • Gripp Exact · accounting and invoicing
  • Google (Analytics) · website statistics (anonymized IP)

We never sell data to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Request corrections
  • Request deletion (unless we are legally obliged to retain it)
  • Withdraw your consent
  • Object to certain processing activities
  • Transfer your data to another party
